This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, provided your inquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) if this has been requested.

The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you request deletion, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after completion of processing your request). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Database (Supabase)

For storing user data (e.g. user accounts, tasks) we use Supabase, a database service by Supabase, Inc. (USA). Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database in the EU (Frankfurt/Main).

Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (contract performance) and Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and reliable data storage). Supabase is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Web Analytics (Umami)

This website uses Umami, a web analytics tool that runs on our own server in Germany (analytics.robinherbeck.com). Umami does not set cookies and does not store anything in your browser. With every page view your browser sends the page visited, the referring page, the screen size and the language setting. From your IP address and the browser identifier (user agent), together with a key that changes every month, the server derives a session ID and roughly determines country, region and city. Stored are the session ID, browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language, country, region, city and the pages visited, but not the IP address itself. Because the key changes every month, visits from different months cannot be linked to each other.

Analysis is only performed with your express consent via our cookie consent banner. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR (consent). You can revoke your consent at any time via the cookie settings in the sidebar.

Google Ads: conversion tracking

This website uses Google Ads. The provider for users in the European Economic Area is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google processes the data as an independent controller. With your consent, your browser loads a script from Google and stores the following cookies: _gcl_au and _gcl_aw for this website and GCL_AW_P for the domains google.com, doubleclick.net and googleadservices.com, each with a lifetime of 90 days. In addition there is the entry _gcl_ls in your browser storage. This lets Google and us recognise whether someone came to this website via an ad. We count the successful submission of our contact form and a click on our phone number as conversions. Only the event itself is sent to Google, no form content such as name, email address, phone number or message and not the number called either.

In the process Google receives in particular your IP address, information about browser and device, the page visited, the time, the identifiers from the cookies mentioned above and, if you arrive via an ad, the click ID (gclid) from the address bar. We have switched off advertising audiences (remarketing) and personalised advertising. With every request this website tells Google that the data must not be used for personalised advertising.

Google may transfer the data to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The transfer is based on the adequacy decision of the European Commission of 10 July 2023 under Art. 45 GDPR.

Without your consent this website does not load any script from Google. A short script in the page header only stores the default setting "no consent" in your browser and does not connect to Google. In that case no Google cookies are set and no data is sent to Google. The setting for passing the click ID via the address bar (url_passthrough) only takes effect once the Google script is loaded, i.e. only after your consent.

Conversion tracking is only activated with your explicit consent via our cookie consent banner (marketing cookies). The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR (consent). Error Monitoring (GlitchTip)

This website uses GlitchTip, a self-hosted error monitoring tool on a server in Germany (errors.robinherbeck.com). When a technical error occurs, the error message, the affected page and technical browser and device information are recorded in order to fix the error. No IP addresses and no personal profile data are stored. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a technically error-free website). No data is shared with third parties; it stays on our own server.
