Custom-built online portfolio for a UK-based artist. 12 custom Gutenberg blocks, scroll animations and full CMS autonomy.
Challenge
An artist needs a professional online presence for client acquisition from 2026. She must be able to manage all content independently, without technical knowledge.
Solution
WordPress Block Theme with 12 custom blocks (project slider, filterable event gallery, timeline, hero with scroll animations). Custom color concept in Figma, responsive 12-column CSS grid with subgrid. Every block with editor controls, media upload and rich text.
Result
A complete artist portfolio with CMS autonomy. Heike can manage all content herself. Scroll animations without external libraries, mobile-first design, critical CSS inline for FOUC prevention.
